This policy explains how Aspen Book Company ("we," "us"), which operates the Read Your Color subscription, collects and uses your information. We keep it simple: we collect what we need to send you books, and we don't sell your data.

Information we collect

Contact & shipping details — your name, email address, and shipping address.
Order information — your reading color, subscription status, and order history.
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
Basic technical & cookie data — standard information your browser sends (like your IP address), our host's server logs, and cookies. We use essential cookies for the site and secure checkout (including Stripe's fraud-prevention cookies), and advertising cookies from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google to measure our ads and show you relevant ones. You can opt out via your browser settings, the Meta and Google ad-preference pages, or by emailing us.

How we use it

To curate, pack, and ship your monthly box.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send you transactional and service emails (order confirmations, shipping, back-in-stock, billing notices).
To provide support and improve the service.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed with the service providers that make the subscription work. We do not sell your personal information.

Supabase	Secure database/storage hosting for order data
Meta & Google (advertising)	Measuring our ads and showing you relevant ones (via their pixel/tag)

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your subscription is active and as needed afterward for records, legal, tax, and support purposes. You can ask us to delete it (subject to those obligations).

Your choices & rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information, and opt out of non-essential email, by contacting info@aspenbookco.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights over your personal information; we honor those requests.

Security

We use reputable providers and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and limit who can see it.

Children

Read Your Color is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13; we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We'll post updates here with a new "last updated" date, and notify you of material changes where appropriate.
